Bison hunting season dates typically run from mid November through mid February.

Regulations

The 2009 "tentative" bison hunting regulations will be available the end of June and the "final" regulations will be available mid-August. In the meantime, the bison hunting informational summary is provided to assist with general licensing and regulation questions.

Residents

• 2009 Moose, Sheep, Goat & Bison Application ( 145 KB)
• Mail-in applications for the
    —conservation license, fishing, and
     most general hunting licenses—
  are not available for residents. Residents must purchase these licenses at an FWP office, FWP License Provider, or online.

Nonresidents

• 2009 Moose, Sheep, Goat & Bison Application ( 430 KB)

Tentative Drawing Date
